Gears of War 2 Triple XP Event

It appears Gears of War 2 is turning 1 tomorrow and Epic Games have decided to put on Triple XP for a whole week! This seems like a good opportunity to grab some levels to tide some time over till Modern Warfare 2 hits.

“Friday, November 6, 2 PM GMT, through Monday, November 16, 2 PM GMT, Gears of War 2 gamers get a nine-day multiplayer extravaganza. In addition to triple experience throughout the event, players will be able to play in an all-new tactical mode across all multiplayer game types (including Horde). Players can expect two big changes in tactical mode, increased weapon damage and reduced ammo counts, along with a few subtle tweaks such as increasing down-but-not-out health so revives are still possible. Also during the event, Public Horde’s difficulty will be bumped to hardcore, and playlists can include individual game types—meaning you can play exactly what you want, when you want. Prepare for the challenge, and more than ever, remember to take cover!”

Halo Waypoint Games Played Deletion

Those of you who watched my last video will know near the end I stated you could delete Halo Waypoint from your Games Played list to get rid of that pesky 0 Achievements/Gamerscore but this will delete all the Avatar Awards you have unlocked.

Nothing stops you from starting up Halo Waypoint again and letting it scan your achievements again to get them back but I imagine that would get rather annoying.

So looks like everyone is forced to keep this on there Gamercard.
